Our Founder
Hi, I’m Patrick. I wear one too.
I started losing my hair at 19. I wore a hat almost everywhere I went, and I felt self-conscious and embarrassed every time I looked in the mirror.
After a lot of research, I got my first hairpiece at 25, and getting my hair back changed my life. That same year I started working in hair replacement. Then my mother and I began planning a studio of our own, and in October 1991 I opened the business we had dreamed up together.
I’ve now worn a hairpiece for more than 35 years, so I understand what my clients are going through, from that first nervous visit to the day they feel like themselves again.
My goal is simple: a natural look, an honest price and a private, comfortable experience, for as long as you need us.

Maryrose McKay
I couldn’t have built this business without my mother. She was my mentor and my inspiration, and she worked tirelessly beside me to plan our studio. By the summer of 1991, everything we had dreamed of was finally coming together. We were so proud of what we had built.
Then, in August 1991, just as we were on the verge of opening, she died suddenly of a massive heart attack. I was devastated and overwhelmed with grief.
Two months later, in October 1991, I found the strength to move forward and opened the business we had planned together. Thirty-five years later, I dedicate my success, and every client we’ve helped, to her.
In her memory, we proudly support the American Heart Association.
